Mediumnity

Mediumnity

Certain people are of a highly sensitive nature, enabling them to serve as go-betweens for spirits in the afterlife. This type of sensitivity cannot be learned and cannot be passed on to others. Generally speaking, any form of mediumnity requires experimental practice before it becomes operational. This time period can very from a few months to several years according to the medium’s own sensitivity and the subconscious influences. Mediumnity needs to exercised in a well briefed and experienced context where the conditions are in harmony with the natural fluid of the group members.

Semi automatic writing

Here the medium works in isolation, putting his ego to one side. He/she receives the spirit in the form of an inner auditory perception. The medium writes down the message received.

Automatic writing
Surrounded by reverential group members, the medium empties his mind. The spirit then uses his hand to write the words of the message that are all linked together from start to finish.

The ouija board

The medium lays one hand on the board and, with the group members, falls into silence. The spirit moves the hand in the direction of the letters and numbers on the board to form a message.

Incorporation

The medium falls into silence and lets his spirit leave his body. Spirits wishing to communicate are quick to use this “empty” body to manifest themselves. At teh end of the seance, the spirit of the medium returns to its “home”.

Speaking in Tongues

Here, mediums speak or write in languages or dialects which are unknown to them.

Ectoplasms

This was studied and proven by Dr Gustave GELEY (1920). This rare form of mediumnity enables a disembodied spirit to appear in ghost or even tangible form, speaking and moving.
To prove its after-death survival, the spirit uses a substance called “ectoplasm”, taken from the body of the medium through his nose, mouth, pores or epigastrium.

Clair-audience

This is the medium who is able to hear the spirits and can take two forms :
-by perceiving a voice within oneself
-by hearing a very faint voice outside

Simple clairvoyance

There is no medium type intervention here as there is no contact with the afterlife. The clairvoyant essentially perceives the perispirital memory via telepathy or the thoughts of a living person.

Clairvoyance via a medium

This is the faculty to communicate telepathically with the dead via the use of a photo. The information is received in the form of snapshots or intuitive perception.

Magnetic sleep

Magnetic passes are used to send the medium to sleep. The perispirit partially or totally leaves the body depending on whether :
- he receives the account of a former life
- the delivery of messages
- he goes to meet spirits which will guide him to unknown places so the medium can describe them
Healing Mediums
In this instance, the spirits of doctors in the afterlife give their magnetic force by guiding the hands of these mediums in the treatment given to patients. Here we see the famous healer José Arigo with a patient.
